Programme Description
This programme aims to equip students with a broad understanding of the operations and maintenance activities in transport systems from the perspective of management and technology-driven environment. The programme covers the fundamental aspects of transport operations and management and engineering. In additional, site visits to transport companies will be arranged to enhance students' knowledge on transport businesses.
Articulation Pathway
Upon completion of the programme, students are eligible to apply for admission to the Advanced Diploma in Transport Operations and Management (QF Level 4) programme offered by MTR Academy and they may apply for credit transfer or subject exemption.
Graduates may also pursue their careers as professionals in transport industry.
Admission Requirements
Applicants shall fulfil the following admission requirements:
1. have completed Secondary 6 and attained Level 2 or above in English Language at HKDSE or equivalent; OR
2. hold a relevant Recognized of Prior Learning (RPL) qualification in Logistics industry at QF Level 2 or above; OR
3. hold a certificate/ diploma at QF Level 2 or above from a recognised institution.
For conditions 2 and 3 above, applicants shall sit in and pass an English test. Applicants may be invited to attend
an interview.

Programme Duration
1 year (Daytime mode. 2 semesters per year)
Medium of Instruction
The language of instruction will be English supplemented with Cantonese. Course materials and assessments are in English.
Class Schedule / Venue
Daytime 1-year Mode: Lectures are normally held during daytime at Hung Hom Centre or other training centres. (Occasionally on Saturdays)
Programme Award
Graduates of this programme will be awarded the Diploma in Transport Studies (Operations and Management).
Tuition Fee for Entire Programme
HK$30,600* (Tuition fees are subject to change without prior notice)
* Tuition fee is paid at the beginning of the academic year. New students are required to pay an initial registration fee of HK$5,000 to confirm their offer. This registration fee will be deducted from the tuition fee payment. All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.
